IMF Lowers Growth Forecast for Eurozone

Summary:

IMF expected that eurozone’s economy to grow by 1.6 per cent this year and down to 1.4 per cent in 2017. The estimates were calculated ahead of the Brexit vote. Mahmood Pradhan, deputy director of IMF’s European department worry that Euro area is in a difficult situation as the IMF’s annual review raised concerns over political uncertainties in the single currency area itself
